ABOUT
Kamilla Barski (b. 1995) based in Oslo, Norway.
Quietness often appears where we least expect it. In the shift between one moment and the next, in the repetition of simple tasks, in the weight of something held without urgency. It doesn’t demand attention, but asks for it gently, offering space rather than filling it.
A vessel, a curve, a surface left untouched. These things speak softly, not of what they are for, but of how they are made, and how they might be felt. Texture becomes a kind of language. Stillness, a way of listening.
Some things are best understood slowly. Not through explanation, but through presence. When objects are placed in a room, they change it. Not loudly, but subtly. And if we stay with them long enough, they might shift something in us too.
